Vintage Exotic Butterfly Taxidermy in Display Case of Natural History

This is a gorgeous selection of butterflies and moths of various sizes from the collection of Chris Cornell a specialist in natural history and taxidermy, he had work displayed at the Museum of Natural History in London. This is an extensive study of taxidermy butterflies from butterflies of tiny proportions to a fairly large pair of moths. A lot of them are labelled with their country of origin and scientific names some are even labelled with their gender. Country origins include Guyana Franc and even displays species from Congo belge which is Congo when it was ruled by a Belgian colony between 1908-1960. A case filled with history and I'm sure a lot more facts and knowledge.

This particular case displays iridescent species with very delicate neutral and earthy tones a beautiful piece to display as an aesthetic piece in a neutral interior.

We advise customers to collect due to its fragile nature. If you do decide to have it posted we cannot take responsibility for damage that is caused although we will pack it well.
