This is a lovely pair of characterful early 19th Century saddle stone mushrooms. The iconic saddle stone mushrooms used to prop up outbuildings to protect them from floods. 
A beautifully sized and aged pair to add to an entranceway or on either side of a pathway. Gorgeous architectural garden ornaments sure to catch people’s eye in any outdoor space. 
Overall in good sturdy condition, a piece has fallen away from the back of one mushroom but this doesn’t affect its stability and they still both stand strong.
