Antique Welsh Victorian Long case Mahogany Grandfather Clock R Fox Of Pontypool

This is a stunning Welsh Victorian long case mahogany clock inscribed R. Fox, Pontypool. A beautiful piece in lovely condition to make a statement in any space. It has a painted arched dial, second and date aperture the hood flanked by Corinthian columns, with pendulum. It has a beautifully painted clock face finely painted with a woman with 2 pails of water a peaceful scene.
The chimes work on the hour on this clock, it has an 8 day movement and is all in working order. Signs of wear and tear from use but no major damage, the lettering on the dial is very worn but this gives it its character and aged look.
