Antique French Trumeau Mirror

This is a stunning antique French trumeau mirror with oil painting panel. A beautifully aged piece that has been cleaned and touched up to be enjoyed for many more years to come. 
 
A painted scene which is intriguing and dissimilar to others as it depicts a low class family scene in a rural mountainous scene with seemingly castle structures around and a man resting next to some ruins and cattle surrounding him. 
 
A very juxtapositional piece of artwork is the painting itself surrounded in a very ornate and decorative frame. 
 
Overall in good sturdy condition, the painting is signed although we can find a painting signature to match. Seemed to be a French painter by the name Jacque Andre which is written in chalk on the back although there is not documentation to confirm this. 
 
A gorgeous piece that has sure to have an extravagant and well travelled life.
