Antique Camelia Chinese Wedding Cabinet

This is a gorgeously hand painted black lacquered and hand made antique Chinese cabinet. A beautiful piece inside and out with patterned Chinese paper on the interior giving this piece a wow factor. 
Decorated with camellia flowers known to grow in wild China during the winter months and are known to be durable throughout the cols. The camelia flower is a symbol of love throughout China and more specifically the petals represent the woman and the calyx (the green leafy part) represents the man, when the petals fall the calyx stays in tact represents eternal love and long-lasting devotion. A fitting flower as usually wedding cabinets are gifted to couples tying the knot.
A very practical size with plenty of storage space it’s a great piece to add some character to any space.
Overall in great condition minor signs of wear and tear from use but nothing major it’s sturdy and strong and made with the traditional Chinese method of no nails or screws simply wood. The doors slide in and out and the shelf’s are removable.
